If you love Chinese food, you’d be aware of American Chinese food chain Panda Express’s imminent entry into India. The chain, which will be brought to India by JSM Group, is scheduled to open its outlets later this year. Now, while we are looking forward to dishes such as Orange Chicken and Cream Cheese Rangoon, we are also curious about a recent Panda Express introduction. This one is not a dish, and it’s called the Chork. Yep, the chork is what you get when you cross a chopstick with a fork, and it made by the Utah-based Brown Innovation Group. According to Brown Innovation, apart from being used as a regular fork, the chork can be used as a pair of chopsticks by simply pinching “the base of the fork head until the sticks snap apart.” More importantly, though, if you are not an expert with chopsticks, the Chork will help you get there. All you’ve got to do is “use the sticks while adjoined together to practice with the trainer function of the chork.” Panda Express, which handed out chorks at its outlets in the US a couple of days ago, calls the three-way utensil, “a perfect way to illustrate the mashup of American and Chinese cultures.” Watch how it works below.
