Ever since cheesecakes became a trendy dessert to order (it’s been a while now), there have been several versions. While the Philadelphia cheesecake remains a hot favourite, there are successful experiments featuring Oreo cookies, brownies, nuts, fruits and of course, chocolates. Maybe it is the simplicity of the core ingredients that allows patissiers and baking enthusiasts to come up with a multitude of combinations. But we’re not complaining. In fact, we’re yet to eat a cheesecake that we didn’t like. But eating aside, cheesecakes are a byproduct of assembly, you set in the biscuit crumble, beat the cream cheese, add in a bit of flavouring and leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours to set. If you have access to the correct ingredients, they’re actually pretty simple to make and bit of creativity can help you fashion your own masterpiece. We found some pictures on Pinterest that had us drooling and may just help you whip up a delicious cheesecake when you’re about to bake one yourself.
