A dessert potluck this weekend to celebrate the World Wide Instameet

With phone cameras pointed at dishes more often than knives and forks, Instagrammers are more than ready for this weekend’s WWIM14, the 14th edition of the world wide Instameet that celebrates food this year. If you have a sweet tooth and can’t stay away from your phones, Food Talk India, the food events app, has a brilliant plan for WWIM14.

Those who sign up for this meeting need to bring a dessert of their choice to Antisocial at Hauz Khas Village and of course, shoot and upload their food pictures, videos and stories by using the hashtag #WWIM14. The dessert could be one that includes frosting and sprinkles or chocolate or even an Indian dessert. If none of these work for your dessert potluck idea, bring along any sweet concoction that you like, but make sure it’s a winner because chances are that Instagrammers across the world will be checking your photos out since this is an event that has been officially launched and publicised by Instagram.
