Terttulia, one of our favourite eateries, has just launched its Express Lunch. The Express Lunch is exactly what the name implies. A quick 3-course menu, yes, but since this is Terttulia, you can be assured of wholesome food that you won’t rue ordering. On the menu is a selection of soups/salads (Smoked Tomato and Basil soup, Sweet Garlic Parmesan and Almond soup with chicken, Caesar’s salad); appetisers such as Broccoli Aglio Olio pepperoncina with garlic chips, mini quiches, charcoal cooked chicken); and mains include Penne in tomato cream cheese sauce with olive lamp; the classic Spaghetti Aglio Olio and an Organic brown rice stir fry with mushroom ragout. Desserts? We’d go for the Creme Brule cheesecake. Monday to Saturday, 12pm to 4pm, Rs 799
Dessert fiends, rejoice. The Sassy Spoon is dishing out some real monsoony treats. Besides their scones — and steaming cups of cocoa — there’s also a creamy Cioccolata Caliene that’s got some salted caramel and vanilla cream and marshmallows. Rs 200 onwards; 12 Noon to 11:15 PM
Only The Bombay Canteen could have come up with sometime so fun. Their Pauwa and Skewer service can now be availed of by folks who hit the bar between 6pm and 9pm. Pauwa, as we all know, is a ‘quarter bottle’, and pauwa patrons get special rates on their alcohol. Plus, they’ve got a new menu to go with the drinks. 6pm to 9pm; available only at the bar.
