New in Mumbai: Pizzas at 1441 and set menus at Olive Bistro

We are big fans of 1441’s wood-fired pizzas, especially the gourmet options with smoked mozzarella, and rate their pizzas pretty highly. Now, 1441, which launched its first outlet in Mumbai about six months ago, is sort of broadening its menu and offering appetisers as well. On offfer is cous cous salad, roasted potatoes, and Persilleda Chicken, with parsley, lime and garlic. And, their popular dough balls now come with a new jalapeño dip.

And, just in case you’re wondering if there’s nothing new on the pizza menu — you’d be wrong. The guys over at 1441 also have a new Pesto pizza. Pop into their Andheri or Fort outlets soon.

If you work in and around Goregaon, or find yourself in this north Mumbai suburb, and realise you’re hungry, pop into Olive Bistro. These guys have just introduced a new set lunch menu. The two or three-course set lunch menus include a veg seat meal option that allows patrons to choose from jalapeño and corn croquettes, hummus and pita; a veg souvlaki gyro wrap and a pasta dish. Carnivores can look forward to a chicken gyro wrap or BBQ sandwich; Chicken Tagine with herbed rice or grilled fish among others. The meals are reasonably priced and start at Rs 299 for a 2-course vegetarian meal and Rs 399 for the non-vegetarian option.
